12 Favorite Read Alouds for Babies & Toddlers

As a former teacher, it is a dream come true to have a little one of my own who has already, at only 17-months-old, developed a love for reading and books. We spend a lot of time reading during our day. Not only do we read two books before nap time and three at bed time, but we have books in Kade's bedroom, in our living room, and in our playroom downstairs. He has his favorites that we read 25 times before 8 AM and thankfully those favorites change every few days. In honor of International Literacy Day coming up, I have compiled a list that includes some classics that Kade always enjoys, and some classic favorites of my own from teaching preschool and kindergarten.
