“Oh Hey Let’s Play with SUMMER Themes” is a 66 page spiral-bound, wipe-clean activity book with 6 themes and a total of 52 different hands-on, engaging learning activities for toddlers and preschoolers age 3 and up. Themes included in this book are:

Each theme consists of 8-9 different activities that cover a variety of skills including fine motor/pre-writing, uppercase and lowercase letter recognition, letter sound knowledge, counting, number recognition, addition/subtraction, graphing, shapes, color matching, and more! Our seasonally themed activity books all include a detailed activity guide (with suggestions on how to use each activity) as well as a favorite book list to accompany each of the themes!

This activity book is fully laminated which means it can be easily wiped clean when written on with a dry erase marker. The books are also able to withstand the use of play dough. You can purchase this activity book with plans to use these learning activities over and over again in different ways, with a variety of materials, passing it on to younger siblings when the time comes. Don’t worry about whether or not you have a printer or laminator, needing to purchase colored printer ink, or using up tons of printer paper- this activity book is meant to simplify all of the set-up and prep on your end so you can focus more on playing and learning with your little ones!

One of the main ideas behind this simple, reusable activity book is that the activities are open-ended, with multiple ways to use each page. Do not limit yourselves to dry erase marker- think outside the box! My hope is that these pages would spark new, fun, hands-on ways to help toddlers and preschoolers practice simple math, literacy, and fine motor skills through PLAYING.

If you do choose to use dry erase markers, we recommend using Expo brand markers on our laminated resources, and wiping clean with a clean, dry tissue, or an old sock/dry cloth. All dry erase surfaces can occasionally leave a stubborn smudge. If you do have any trouble, we recommend the Expo White Board Care Spray. Many of the other materials that can be used for the activities in our books (snack items, buttons, pom poms, etc.) can likely be found in your own home. I encourage you to first use inspiration from what you already have before buying anything new!
