"Letter Building & Tracing Flash Cards" Printable PDF
These “Letter Building & Tracing Flash Cards” are a DIGITAL DOWNLOAD that you can print, cut, and laminate (if you choose) all on your own! The set includes two pages (or “cards”) of activities for each of the 26 letters in the alphabet.
Created by a former kindergarten teacher (yours truly), this resource helps with uppercase & lowercase letter recognition, letter sound knowledge, encourages proper letter formation, & pre-writing skills. The smaller size makes them great for travel, on-the-go, or sitting in waiting rooms!
You can start using these flash cards as a way to build vocabulary beginning as early as 18 months old, and allow them to grow with your child once they are ready to start learning letters, and eventually showing interest in writing!
This is a digital product that will provide you with an instant downloadable link at check-out. The product is non-refundable and is protected under copyright 2024 Oh Hey Let’s Play LLC.
When printing the flash cards, you will want to select “actual size” under the “scale” settings for them to print in the 5x7 flash card size. Your settings will likely be automatically set to “fit to printable area” which would print them full size. After printing, cut along the dotted edge.
To get the most out of your printable flash cards, we recommend laminating them so that you can play and learn over and over! Once the cards are laminated, they can be written on with a dry erase marker, and you can use play dough, or removable dot stickers to build each uppercase and lowercase letter. Not only does this help enforce letter recognition and formation, but also builds fine motor skills!
TIP: Use a hole punch and a metal binder ring to keep your flash cards all together and take them on the go!
